"Nebula"; A dragon child with a nebula; the universe in it's belly.

As with most of my creations Nebula is a mutation of human-like form, somewhat mechanical, and a combination of fantasy and realistic creatures, all born from and pieced together through earths fragments.

Many techniques and mediums were used in its creation, including: plaster cloth, apoxie sculpt, paperclay, a natural gourd base, fiber remnants,paper, wire acrylics and resin. It's human face is sculpted in polymer clay. The glassy nebula in it's stomach is hand painted and was achieved by building up many many thin layers of acrylics and resin.

Measures approximately 7 3/4 inches.
